Joy Lyle has lived in Colleton County for  over 30 years. Her love for the area and the people has grown through the years as she has worked and raised her family here. Her three children and grandchild are her greatest joys and she is blessed to have most of  them living close by in the Hendersonville area. Joy feels at home in almost every church as she has sung for many weddings, funerals and other special occasions. Joy graduated from Walterboro High School and Georgia Southern with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Her experiences include working with CPA and accounting firms, radio and television advertising and sales, professional modeling through the Millie Lewis Agency and professional singing in many venues. Homeschooling her three children for several years was one of her greatest accomplishments. She also helped her husband with his business, Soil and Wetland Consulting, for many years.Joy has been in Real Estate Sales since January 2004 and finds it especially rewarding. After working in the Greater Charleston area for a few years, she changed her focus to Colleton County. She says helping sellers and buyers in Walterboro and the surrounding areas comes easily because she truly knows and loves this part of the Lowcountry! Joy counts staying well informed and educated about the real estate market and its legal issues of primary importance. Consequently, she is an active member of the local Walterboro Board of Realtors, serving  as Secretary for the years 2010 and 2011 and will serve as Vice President for 2012. Joy is also a member of the S. C. and National Association of Realtors. She also received the designation of Certified New Home Sales Professional from the National Association of Home Builders.
